PS (polistirene) o ABS (copolimero acrilonitrile-butadiene-stirene):
The material becomes brittle if stored improperly, subjected to UV radiation or to temperatures under -30°C and over +45°C. It is absolutely essential to store the products in closed, dry cabinets.
The product can be cleaned at a maximum temperature of +70°C for a maximum of 15 minutes.
If lye, disinfectants and detergents containing alcohol, or acids are used, the material becomes brittle.
If oxidants, hydrocarbons, ketones, esters, aldehydes or acetones are used, damage occurs to the product. The products are not suitable for sterilisation.
Food-safe: contains no bisphenol A or halogens.
Recycling and disposal:
The product is recyclable and contains no hazardous substances. Energy recycling can be carried out without any problem.
PET (polyethylene terephthalate):
PET becomes distorted by heat and the flanged rim could open as a result (hydrolysis).
Temperature tolerance up to +40°C, not heat-resistant.
The use of acids (acetone), alkalis, aldehydes, esters, hydrocarbons and oxidants causes damage to the product.
Recycling and disposal:
The product is recyclable and contains no hazardous substances. Energy recycling can be carried out without any problem.
